One of my favorite places for Chinese Food!!
The food is quite delicious. I was impressed by the freshness and quality. Ours was a carry out order and it was ready fairly quickly. The person that answered the phone sounded like he has the personality of a dial tone, hence the 4 stars.
Best crispy beef i have ever had. Will eat again soon.
This is our top choice for Chinese takeout in our area.
Was very very disappointed. Was the first time going and Spent almost 40 dollars on our take out to have less than appetizing food. The kung pao combination was the biggest let down of all had no spice, or flavor and was plainly put not edible. It ended up in the trash. The egg rolls were soggy and lacking flavor and the lomein had a weird after taste. Had hope when trying bc of reviews on here, but Will not be returning.
Only eat in/take out near Shannondale. Good food good prices. Have a beer while you wait.
Fast and our orders are carefully packaged
Excellent and fresh - carry out. Will return.
Mike Browns review is completely inaccurate 😂
Good food and decent prices
This is an unfortunate turn of events for an otherwise solid Chinese restaurant. I did not know how to approach this as it was discovered after-hours, while reheating leftovers from an order. It has to be addressed though as it posed an incredibly dangerous risk to my girlfriend and I.This approximately 1", razor thin, curl of steel was found in the breading around a piece of orange chicken. Not noticeable from the outside, until I cut the piece of chicken open, springing the razor sharp piece free.If this had happened while myself or my girlfriend bit in to that piece, it would have had instantaneous and damaging results. Likely resulting in surgery if swallowed. I understand mistakes happen, but this is unacceptable. I think I'll be giving other area establishments a try for now. *I did have pictures of said piece attached, but they seem to not be posted. I'll keep trying to share them
Delicious food, low prices and great service!
The best China food in town. Better than their other place next to wallmart. They own both but this one is much better.
A simple business with a simple premise: cook good food for a good price, and get it to you as quickly as possible. The simple interior has a minimalistic and bright feeling. This is branded as a "carry-out only" establishment but self-service seating is available for small and short gatherings. The staff is friendly and prompt with fufilling orders. Panda Garden is a convenient choice to fix that Friday night craving or for a quick stop to pick up some lunch. For best results, phone in your order a few minutes ahead and enjoy.
Excellent food and prices
It's the better of the local Chinese, but it's just okay. If you are looking for great Chinese food, keep looking.
It's good. Hubby and I like it very much!
Mandarin chicken was in no way near as to what I expected. The chicken its self was on the side and very greasy. The sauce/vegetables also came alone in a separate container and had absolutely any flavor to it that tasted anything close to Mandarin. I am pretty disappointed.
Take out
Fresh food in only 10 minutes👍👍👍 will be returning soon..
Delicious and very clean! Pleasant staff.
Reasonable
This place is not situated for dining in. The fountain drink machine is permanently out of service so you must purchase bottled or canned drinks. The prices are average for Chinese takeout. The food was okay but nothing really to speak about as far as taste. One positive is the food was very very hot. They also serve bottled beer if that interests you. They do have reasonable lunch specials that include the meal, soup, an (egg roll or spring roll or vegetable roll or crab rangoon) and your choice of white or fried rice. The staff were friendly but not situated for waited service.
Very very dirty
A few things you need to know (huge health concern included):1. A friend who used to work there has seen the chefs cough without covering their mouths INTO the food.2. Cashiers can also work as the person who packs your food, and are not required to wash their hands.3. Has seen chef drop food and place it back into the plates.4. Charges extra 4% fee for using a credit card, but does not tell you that you can technically get 4% off if you pay with cash. The label besides the cash register is folded to hide the information about the 4% discount.Hope this helps you judge where to eat.
Nice Chinese food for the Charles Town area.
I like curried chicken all time fav and veg spring roll!
Our favorite place to order out. Good food and nice staff.
This building was the old China Fortune. It mainly serves as a take-out, but i think it does have in house dining. Has a fairly thorough sushi bar. Food is very good.
Our favorite place for Chinese in Charles Town for five years.
Best Chinese food in Charles Town and the surrounding area. Thank goodness. When Sue Chen closed, we thought we were sunk. Tried everywhere else and it was awful. All of our food ordered for carryout last night - 12-10-16 - was terrific.
Best Chinese in Charles Town
Such as awesome place to eat Chinese! I live in MD and would drive to Panda Garden just for the food!
Quick, clean, friendly, and the food is delicious. Oh, and convenient.
Ordered online at 6pm, the website said it would be ready for pickup at 6:29pm. The order wasn’t ready until 7pm. I asked the girl on the register how long it would be at 6:45 and the best answer she could give was “idk”. Also, I paid when I arrived at 6:25 WITH tip. Do not eat here.
The staff are so unwelcoming. Poor customer Service
April 2019 we thought we would try this place out. Food was hot but had no taste. The orange chicken had a strange sticky sauce on it and was very chewy. Another chicken dish we had tasted like the chicken had been deep fried in old oil then thrown into a brown sauce. It did not even taste like chicken. We ordered a dish without onions but it was served with onions. The chef insisted that it was celery however you could tell by the taste it was onions. It was the worst tasting Chinese food I have ever tried to eat. We usually always bring home leftovers from a Chinese restaurant. Almost all of our food was thrown away. We went someplace else to eat. Avoid eating here if you have taste buds!
Ordered their Pad Thai Chicken as takeout, and had to throw it in the trash after biting down on small rocks three separate times. This is not an exaggeration, it literally had rocks in it. Sad to see this from them, they were once the best in Charles Town.
